Manchester City and Liverpool have agreed a fee of £49million for forward Raheem Sterling.
The 2014 English Premier League champions have had their breakthrough in the pursuit of their summer target after having two bids rejected for the 20-year-old.
Manchester City will pay Liverpool a guaranteed sum of  £45million before  an additional £4million in add-ons.
Sterling will formally negotiate personal terms before undergoing a medical at City this week.
After rejecting  a new £100, 000 contract, Sterling informed Liverpool of his wish to leave the club Anfield this summer.
Sterling has bid farewell to his Liverpool teammates.
He joined Liverpool as a youngster in 2010 for £500,000 from Queens Park-Rangers who will receive close to £9million as part of the Sterling's deal when they sold the player.
Liverpool agreed to pay QPR 20 percent of any profit from the forward's next move.
